Summary:
Experienced technologist with technical depth and strong interpersonal skills. Passionate about working with customers by designing applications that scale, perform, and meet business requirements in a cost effective manner. This includes enabling innovation through assisting business units become competent using continuous deployment with DevOps, building web & mobile scale-out applications, RDBMS (MySQL, AWS Aurora, Oracle, SQL Server, and Postgres) and/or NoSQL (AWS DynamoDB, MongoDB, and Cassandra) data stores. Also responsible for designing IoT use cases and implementing big data analytics w/ technologies
Qualification: ·
Current AWS Certified Solutions Architect ·
10+ years design & implementation experience with distributed applications ·
6+ years’ experience in networking; infrastructure or database architecture ·
Working knowledge of software development tools and methodologies ·
Working knowledge of programming languages ·
Education:
BS level technical degree or equivalent experience; Computer Science or Math background preferred; MS degree desired
Purpose of the team: Infrastructure team - architecture for cloud- amazon AWS
Typical Day: taking tickets and making users operational again. Also assisting with architecture and design with greenfield projects
Team environment: Worker will be part of cloud team but also interacting with several different areas
Experience: 6 – 10 years of experience
Selling points of role: cutting edge technologies within cloud. Dev ops – hands on work.
