Job Description :
A strong technically-oriented individual to work as an on-site DevOps Engineer with JAVA and .NET expertise for a requirement at our client location with below expectations:
At least 6+ years of relevant DevOps experience in environments supporting JAVA and .NET applications
Perform onsite DevOps duties implementing full CI/CD automation for client application and systems
Expertise in provisioning cloud (preferably AWS) infrastructure
Writing CloudFormation templates for automated environment setup
Assistance to work with Docker, NoSQL
Logging and monitoring in cloud architecture
Development using Lambda functions
Identify issues, handle them effectively, envision and execute suitable solutions and discuss them with the delivery teams, clients and SMEs
Support development and delivery of enterprise systems using industry-standard design patterns, practices and cloud strategies
Support offshore dev team for large scale integration solutions adopting various technologies such as spring boot, node js, Kafka, swagger, Docker, NoSQL database etc.
Have played or playing the role of a development lead with proven experience in implementing solutions for the enterprise
Familiarity or prior experience in employing PaaS on AWS or any equivalent cloud platform for distributed enterprise-scale apps
Hands on with researching and executing proof-of-concept activities on latest technologies, tools and frameworks and make recommendations on candidate solutions for enterprise adoption
Technical Skills:
Must have technical knowledge and expertise in
At least one cloud platform (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Good hands-on knowledge of Configuration Management and Deployment tools like Git, Jenkins, Selenium, Docker, Kubernetes, Puppet, Chef, Ansible, Nagios, Terraform etc.
Proficient in scripting, and Git and Git workflows
Experience in developing Continuous Integration/ Continuous Delivery pipelines (CI/ CD)
Strong background in Linux/Unix Administration
Experience with automation/configuration management
Ability to use a wide variety of open source technologies and cloud services (experience with AWS is preferred)
Strong experience with SQL and MySQL (NoSQL experience a plus)
A working understanding of code and script (JAVA, .NET)
Knowledge of best practices and IT operations in an always-up, always-available service
