Role: Sr. DevOps Developer
Location: Chicago, IL(60606)
Duration: 3 Months with highly possible extensions.
As a Senior Developer for IT/DevOps, you’ll be responsible for supporting the services architecture layer, which is consumed by commercial, customer-facing applications as well as airport and contact center applications. Coordinating with development, infrastructure and operations to manage, maintain and troubleshoot several environments.
Responsibilities:
Develop tools or scripts for various needs
Develop or integrate tools to enable continuous delivery
Develop scripts to enable test automation
Monitor the various environments for performance and availability
Contribute to and enforce Services Governance guidelines
Troubleshoot issues & problem solving
Assist with any configuration issues for the pipeline
Team transitioned from a Waterfall to and Agile environment in which they are continuing to build
Will be responsible for communicating with manager, QA team, and scrum masters through the project. Will be core support across multiple departments
Knowledge/Skills:
5+ years of professional experience in application analysis, design, and troubleshooting
Experience creating a CI/CD Pipeline required
Continuous integration / continuous delivery tools and processes, including Jira, TeamCity, Cara, TFS and GitHub required
Creating automation scripts for DevOps environment required
Bachelor’s degree required
Powershell, .NET, C#, SQL Server preferred
Experience and in-depth knowledge of Microsoft server operating systems
Ability to manage multiple deliverables, both short and long-term, in a busy and aggressive environment, while staying flexible to dynamic needs and priority levels
Self-motivated and willing and able to work in a team-oriented environment
