A good understanding of ITIL change management process.
Knowledge of scripting languages in support of a DevOps implementation.
General understanding of the need for and use of multi-tier architectures, load balancers, caching, web servers, application servers, databases, and networking.
A good understanding of security practices.
Experience with templates and other configurable items to enable automation.
Familiarity with deployment techniques (and tools) in a distributed environment.
Familiarity with Application Programming interfaces.
Basic understanding of relational and non-relational databases.
Experience in creating policies, standards and procedures for software configuration management in relationship with DevOps processes.
Working knowledge of one or more high-level programming languages (C#, Java, PHP, Ruby, Python, etc.
