Barrister Global Services Network Inc. is currently looking for a motivated, highly detailed, organized and outgoing individual to support one of our major nationwide clients. The successful applicant should be able to quickly adapt their knowledge to the current IT environment and be able to enhance the current systems in place. They should also possess excellent verbal and written communication skills so as to be understood by technical and non-technical personnel.



Job Summary :
We are looking for someone that can provide DevOps tool support (tool upgrades, maintenance, support) In this position you will provide DevOps tool training and consulting for customer development teams and develop Jenkins Pipelines for each application .
As requested, you will develop and/or maintain Ansible Playbooks on behalf of development teams The right candidate for this job will utilize Git as repository for Ansible playbooks and deploy Jenkins pipelines within the environments You will work with the client to continually evolve the service capabilities to meet client''s needs and determine the schedule for on boarding applications to the service .


Responsibilities:

Participate as a member of the team and leads, cross-functional development teams.
Lead design of complex cross- functional solutions for others to develop.
Provide mentoring and guidance to developers.
Set team strategy and direction; represents team to senior management and clients.
Develop innovative multi-team solutions to complex problems.
Design, prepare and execute unit tests.
Significant time is spent in strategic and creative problem solving.
Demonstrate broad technical leadership, impacting significant technical direction; exert influence outside of immediate team and drives change.
Apply in-depth or broad, technical knowledge to support global areas or functions.
Apply company and 3rd party technologies to highly complex software solutions, while driving innovation. Independently implements end-user or enterprise solutions of significant complexity.
Integrates technical expertise and business understanding to create superior solutions for the company and clients.
Consults with team members and other organizations, clients and vendors on complex issues.
Mentors others in the technology community; may publish or otherwise engage professionally outside of the company



Requirements:

Candidates must have all required skills/experience to be considered.
Candidates must be US Citizen.
Candidates need to a Public Trust Clearance.

More than 10 years experience writing code using languages such as (and not limited to) COBOL, PL/1, Java, C, C++, C#, VB.Net.
Advanced ability to work with Web- development tools for new applications.
Advanced understanding of RDBMS databases such SQL Server and Oracle.
Advanced understanding of modern software design and development methodologies.
Experience on multiple major full release project life cycles.
Advanced understanding of modern SCM (software configuration management
Advanced understanding of testing tools and unit test and integration test scripting, and testing methodologies
Advanced experience using an Integrated Development Environment (e.g., Eclipse, Visual Studio) and development of tool add-ins.
Strong understanding of basic Database Administration.
Expert in defining quality and security standards.
Strong verbal and written communication and negotiation skills.
Strong project management/team leader skills.
Experience with more of these tools: Jenkins, Ansible, Nexus
Strong client and vendor management skills.
High level of technical leadership skills.



Estimated initial contract period : 1 year.
