Who are we looking for?
A mid-senior level DevOps engineer to manage a critical project for one of our biggest client in banking domain. The Individual should be passionate about technology, experienced in development and orchestration of end to end next generation tool chain with sound knowledge on cutting edge tools and platforms.
Technical Skills:
A techie with strong hands-on experience on the following
o CI/CD orchestration tool- Jenkins (Pipeline)
o Build tool – Maven (Genesis plugin) / Gradle
o Package repository – Artifactory / Nexus
o Source code repository – GitHub
o Continuous inspection – Sonar, Jacoco, Fortify
o Deployment orchestrator – Puppet / Chef / Bosh
o Programming language - in Core Java, Spring MVC, Ruby.
Preferably, good exposure to UI using JQuery, JSON and Java script.
A master of SQL and Oracle DB
Familiar with Jira, Confluence & sharepoint
Knowledge of Tomcat and Pivotal Cloud Foundry will get you additional brownie points.
Process Skills:
Experience in working in agile methodology (Scrum
Capable of analyzing requirements and develop software as per project defined software process
Develop and peer review of LLD (Initiate/ participate in peer reviews)
Ability to execute test plans, create test cases test data and contribute to appropriate software (including programming languages) development life cycle methodology and application of specialized business and technical knowledge.
Behavioral Skills:
Resolve technical issues of projects and Explore alternate designs
Participates as a team member and fosters teamwork by inter-group coordination within the modules of the project.
Effectively collaborates and communicates with the stakeholders and ensure client satisfaction
Train and coach members of project groups to ensure effective knowledge management activity.
Qualification:
Somebody who has at least 6+ years of work experience in software development.
Education qualification: B.Tech, BE, BCA, MCA, M. Tech or equivalent technical degree from a reputed college
