Job Title: - DevOps Software Engineer

Job Description:
Responsible for the production support of multiple Or onsite and Retail applications
Participate in modernizing legacy applications and identifying opportunities for automation
Evangelize DevOps practices within DS&C IT Operations
Lead projects, defects and enhancements in partnership with the business
Knowledge of the following technologies are a plus: Databases (Oracle, SQL Server, P-SQL), UNIX/LINUX – batch scripting, SAP, Network configuration, JIRA, ITSM Remedy,
Knowledge of .NET and SQL Server, IIS, and web development/programming. Proficiency with software development tools like the following: Microsoft Visual Studio, Microsoft Visual Source Safe, Microsoft SQL Enterprise Manager and Query Analyzer
Good knowledge in current technologies and web app development using VB.NET (required), .NET, web services, SSRS, SSIS, JavaScript, C# (plus), Microsoft Azure (plus)

1. Technical Background - Recent experience in application development and operational support. Able to diagnose root causes to technical issues and resolve them by designing and deploying effective solutions. Identifies and applies system and process improvements.
