Duration: Long term contract(but client may hire them for fulltime after some time)
JOB SUMMARY
The Development Operations Engineer is responsible for constructing utility programs and databases to aid with Configuration Management and automated builds. They will build or enhance automated interfaces between tools, such as repositories/ticketing tools/testing tools, to build baseline management databases (CMDB) and interfaces as well as assist with other build automation tasks. The Development Operations Engineer will implement integrations and interfaces between existing configuration management and development lifecycle toolsets.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Jenkins, Git, AccuRev, Artifactory, Atlassian Suite and Test Automation tools is a plus.
The ideal candidate will have:
Java development experience
SQL coding skils
Scripting experience within Linux/Unix environments.
Salt Script
Deep Linux Admin
The position requires hands-on working knowledge in multiple technology disciplines.
The ideal candidate will possess strong:
Linux/Unix OS experience (e.g., Ubuntu, RedHat)
Scripting skills (e.g., bash, etc
Knowledge of cloud technologies (e.g., OpenStack, AWS, etc
Knowledge of container concepts (e.g., Docker)
Knowledge of cloud orchestration concepts (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker Swarm, etc
Expertise with other Infrastructure deployment tools (e.g., Salt, Ansible, Chef, Terraform, Vagrant, etc.
They will possess knowledge in infrastructure architecture (hardware, storage, clustering)
Networking (firewall, proxies, software defined networking)
Security (hardening concepts, compliance references)
Some knowledge of application deployments (Java, Tomcat, etc
