Day to Day:

This individual''s core responsibilities will include building and configuring the AWS components that are needed. The ability to use Infrastructure as Code to build and configure the environment (CloudFormation, Terraform, Chef, Ansible or Puppet), and other tools, based on the architectural design plan. Looking for a DevOps Engineer who is focused on the application side of things, who''s can own the CI/CD process end to end. This person should have strong scripting abilities in order to write build, configure and monitor the environment as needed. The ability to automate deployments and configuration processes in AWS. The ultimate end goal is to bring an Enterprise AWS release environment to the client.

Must Have:

- 5+ years of experience of DevOps in an Enterprise Level environment

- At least 2 years of hands-on AWS experience working with S3, VPC and EC2

- Strong understanding of the CI/CD pipeline and able to implement and maintain the tools that are needed

- Experience with Linux

- Scripting abilities to automate processes (using shell, bash or python)

- Experience building and deploying

- Experience with configuration management, Infrastructure as Code (using CloudFormation, Terraform, Ansible, Chef or Puppet)

- Able to contribute to the planning, design and implementation of the AWS components needed to build the environment

- Familiar with various AWS tools including but not limited to CodeSuite, EC2, Beanstalk, Lambda and Route53

- Experience with container and orchestrations tools, kubernetes & docker preferred


Plus:

- Experience with Cloud Foundry or other on-prem cloud tool

- Development background java
