Job Title : DevOps Engineer
Location : Hauppauge, NY
Job Summary
Responsible for DevOps engineering activities that include maintaining and creating the Azure Cloud platform for product lines. Other duties include the configuration, installation and support of in-house servers and desktops. In this job, you will:
Design, promote and support Continuous Delivery
Develop and maintain Continuous Integration processes, tools and execution; includes test frameworks, code quality analysis, etc.
Develop and manage test automation frameworks that exercise the Client''s products
Develop and manage the build and versioning of code releases
Implement deployment processes that entails packaging releases, pushing releases and executing installs
Conduct DevOps tool research, evaluation, proof of concept, installation, configuration and training
Participate in process analysis and documentation
Deploy/Install Neometrics custom software, including EXE’s, DLL’s, Web Sites
Deploy/Install Third Party software products, in support of the Neometrics suite of software products
o Crystal Reports
o Cute Editor
o .NET Frameworks
o ORACLE Client
o ODBC
Deployment of Database objects and Software deliverable to internal and external servers
o Using TOAD to deploy Schema changes, based on deploy notes in QB
o DB Objects (Procs, Functions, Tables, Views, Triggers, etc
o Using TOAD to deploy DATA changes
o Insert/Update ROWS in Databases needed to configure dynamic web sites
Maintain/Administer Development Hyper-V Host
Maintain/Administer TFS
o Permissions
o Team Projects
o Version Control
Copy/FTP Installation Files
Create/Maintain Scheduled Server EXE’s, using MS Task Scheduler
Install/Maintain/Support Neometrics Custom Windows Services on APP Servers
o Merge Service
Write configuration management plans and audit software change procedures.
Prepare appropriate deploy documentation for production releases.
Develop and test software and participate in design reviews.
Develop software documentation to verify compliance with software CM plans and procedures.
Develop, refine, and maintain configuration processes and procedures.
Develop, refine, and maintain build and installation processes and procedures.
Control the release of a product and changes to it throughout its lifecycle.
Manage source code in centralized configuration management system.
Troubleshoot build issues and work with the development team to resolve issues.
Manage build environment, and automate build, deployment, and other configuration management tasks.
Deploy software to various environments.
Assist in the maintenance of issue tracking system and document repositories.
Assist in research, design, and implementation of best practices and tools, related to DevOPS
Participate in design reviews, configuration audits, and evaluation of software products for quality.
Develop, refine, and maintain the automated testing tools and strategies that will fit within the Neometrics product suite and SDLC
Track and document bugs found in the systems ,using ticketing system (Quick Base)
Travel to customer sites when necessary
Qualifications
Bachelor''s degree (B.A from four-year College or university required; or equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
Working experience with cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS
Working experience maintaining and/or administer MS SQL Server SSRS:
o Permissions
o User Folders
Working experience deploying SSRS reports/objects
Working experience maintaining internal/external IIS Servers
o Configure IIS
o Manage IP Addresses to install web sites
o Create/Configure iCMSweb sites
o Update/Configure WEBAPPCONFIG in each environment

o Update Document of URL’s, for each environment
Working experience configuring and maintaining various environments (e.g., Development, T&E, Staging, etc
