Job Description:
The DevOps Engineer will work collaboratively with Software Engineering to deploy and operate our systems, automate and streamline our operations and processes, build and maintain tools for deployment, monitoring and operations, and troubleshoot and resolve issues in our dev, test and production environments.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Identify opportunities for automation, quality improvement, and consistency in current ecosystem
Work closely with Software Engineering, QA and System Administration teams to provide a stable, consistent, efficient development and production environment
Apply industry best practices and patterns to real-world engineering challenges
Own and drive solutions from problem statement to implementation
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor''s Degree required or equivalent in education and experience
Experience with containerization (Docker) and container orchestration
Strong Linux administration and scripting experience
Experience with automation/configuration management using either Puppet, Chef or equivalent
Ability to use a wide variety of open source technologies and cloud services (AWS preferred)
Experience building, deploying and scaling SaaS applications
Experience with continuous integration/continuous delivery (Jenkins preferred)
Resolve complex problems with merging, branching and configuration management of SCM system (Git and SVN preferred)
Experience with Maven
Conversant and able to use Java and at least 3 additional programming languages
Experience with agile development methodology
Experience with Webscale technologies such as Kafka, Memcached/Redis, AWS
Experience in a blue/green deployment environment a plus
Healthcare and/or analytics experience a plus
Experience with IaaS and/or PaaS a plus
Experience in a HIPAA-compliant environment a plus
