Position: DevOps Engineer
Location: Redwood City, CA
Duration: 2+Month

In the Role:
You will be responsible for building, maintaining and testing the company’s production servers. As a DevOps engineer you’ll be a part of the development team in which you will analyze and help improve the company’s services and processes for a higher level of availability, scalability, and reliability.
Skill Set:
5+ years of expiring in developing, installing and using Puppet (Modules, Facts, Providers)
Experience with Configuration Management Tools like Puppet, Chef
Linux – Ubuntu, Debian, RHEL
Experience working with VMWare
Experience with Monitoring Tools like Nagios, Icinga, Solarwinds, Zabbix
Solid understanding of cloud providers like Softlayer, AWS
Strong knowledge of scripting languages such as Bash / Python / Perl -
Experience with running queries in MongoDB / Elastic Search / MySQL
Experience in setting up and configuring common services web services: (Apache), FTP, DNS, NFS, VPN, LDAP, mail servers.
Experience working with Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment frameworks
Able to work Independently & within a team environment
Strong communication skills (written & verbal)
Bachelor’s degree in CS or related areas
Nice to Have:
Familiar with Kickstart (Cobbler/FAI)
Exp. with Open Source Technologies: Elastic Search, MongoDB, Karaf, Ceph is a huge plus
