Job Description
DevOps Developer needed with Docker / Ansible / Python experience will take an active role in the design and implementation of automated orchestration, configuration and deployment of assets into both public and private clouds.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Function as a technical expert on cloud infrastructure projects pertaining to the automation, orchestration and provisioning of infrastructure-as-a-service solutions supporting Windows and Linux based servers in private and public cloud environments.
Extend and improve existing automation tools for on-demand provisioning of testing environments and deployment of tests using virtualized and physical servers.
This includes cluster provisioning in AWS, Azure and VMware.
Architect, implement, and manage cloud and on premise server clusters required for product testing, workshops, and POC engagements.
Work on managing and optimizing AWS utilization and on-prem hardware resources.
CI/CD workflow and automated deployment frameworks
Technical/Functional Skills
Desired Skills:
A Strong background of Containerization, Docker containers and Micro Services.
Proficient in Docker and familiar with relevant technologies such as AWS ECS, Kubernetes, Docker Swarm, Nomad
Build automated monitoring, alerting and dashboard capabilities for CICD processes, production KPIs and other metrics
Engineer and maintain a multi-region multi-provider container PaaS using Docker, Ansible, Terraform, Cloud Formation, etc
2+ Years of experience in automating large-scale deployments with modern software configuration management tools Ansible desirable.
5+ years of experience with Continuous Integration (CI) and test automation systems such as Jenkins.
8+ Years of Linux system administration and knowledge of Linux tools and utilities; experience diagnosing server processes or applications using Linux-based tools
2+ years of ability to manage Git repositories and workflows, including branching, tagging, and releasing;
Hands-on experience using AWS technologies.
2+ years of experience of storage and/or network design and administration
Additional Requirements
Experience with Deployment Automation and Configuration Management tools like Ansible /Python
Educational Requirements
BS / BA degree in Computer Science or Information Systems, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
