Position: DevOps Consultant

Job Description:
Must Have’s
1) Strong background in Linux/Unix Administration(6+ years)
2) Experience with automation/configuration management using either Puppet, Chef or an equivalent(3 years
3) Ability to use a wide variety of open source technologies and cloud services (experience with Openstack is required)
4) Knowledge of best practices and IT operations in an always-up, always-available service
5) Knowledge in J2EE Web-application
6) Hands on Experience in Pivotal Cloud Foundry or any other PAAS ( AWS,Heroku,Predix,Open Shift)
7) Rich Experience in working in cloud based development environment using openstack, docker, tomcat and other associated technologies
8) Infrastructure experience in one of including Docker, Chef, Puppet, AWS, CloudFormation, OpenStack, Consul, Logstash, etc.
Primary Responsibilities:
1) Participates in project planning processes, creates and shares development estimates and operational requirements to enable accurate planning with realistic timelines.
2) Installs and configures solutions.
3) Integrates solutions with other applications and platforms outside the framework
4) Adheres to standards and procedures.
5) Reviews modules for quality assurance.
6) Builds automated deployments using configuration management technology
7) May assist in production support
