Job Description :
> 6+ years of experience as Unix/Linux admin
> Cloud experience (preferably google cloud) Well versed with scripting language (bash, shell) Well versed with at least one programming language (Java, Python, C++) Well versed with container model of deployment and know at least one container management solution (OpenShift, K8, Swarm) Distributed computing Kafka, ZK, MQ, ES etc (cluster set up, maintenance patching of cluster nodes) Well versed with HA model (Master/Slave, Active/Passive) Collaborate with dev, security, infrastructure, enterprise and understand required ask.
> Collaborate with round the globe teams for full coverage around environment management and support.
> Handle multiple conflicting priorities and smart enough to understand business impact while prioritizing them.
> Help managing server resources securely in cloud and on prem set up.
Notes :
Needs strong fundamentals of Linux engineering. Preference will be given to candidates able to make an onsite interview. Candidate must sit onsite in Milwaukee. Google cloud platform and OpenStack and strong preferences.
