Description:
This role is for a Level 2 Desktop support person working a normal day time shift, Monday thru Friday.

Complete Description:
This role is focused on level-2 support for innovation center and conference room facilities configured with Chrome devices and video conferencing capability. The ideal candidate must have excellent customer service and communications skills.

Candidate must be able to:
Answer customer questions about room scheduling and assist customers in reserving facilities/resolving scheduling conflicts.
Configure/setup rooms to meet customer requirements.
Assist trainers with software installation in the learning center, assist customers with system setup/login, network access, and videoconferencing.
Escalate system issues to appropriate support area for quick resolution.
Maintain a positive outlook, be professional, and provide excellent customer service.

Work during core business hours of 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, not to exceed a 40 hour work week.
At least 1 year of relevant experience working in a technical IT environment.

Skill Required / Desired Amount of experience.
Effective communications skills to understand customer requirements when scheduling facilities. Required 3 Years
Must have the knowledge and ability to solve IT problems. Required 3 Years
Understand and comply with State of Iowa security requirements. Required 1 Years
Ability to enter tickets into a service desk call center application. Required 3 Years
Knowledge of Google suite of products. Nice to have 2 Years
Experience with VDI end device support. Nice to have 2 Years
