Deskside Support Analyst needed for client in Pittsburgh,(Warrendale) PA

Desktop Support Analyst - On behalf of our client in the Oil and Gas sector Procom Services is looking for one Desktop Support Analyst. The Successful candidate will have experience with Desktop Support, mobile devices and IMAC.

Desktop Support Analyst Job Details

Reporting to the Houston Deskside Lead, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing consistent, high quality service ensuring a positive client experience when using our client s IT services. The Deskside Support Representative (DSR) is responsible for communicating and assisting clients with IT related issues and requests, including hardware and software, mobile devices, remote access and meeting/conference rooms.

Key Tasks:

Provide effective support to the client s IT environment, including (but not restricted to) the following tasks:
Perform hardware and software installs, move add and changes (IMAC)
Support for Mobile Devices
Support stand alone and network printers, including print queues, if required
Support IP Telephony IMAC
Support building security systems technology
Support meeting room audio and video equipment including general maintenance activities; Pre-meeting and in-room conference room troubleshooting and testing of audio / visual equipment as needed
Hands and eyes support for on-site server, storage, backup/recovery, network and other data center equipment if necessary
Collaborate with Service Desk representative on incident and request tickets which are close to breaching SLA to ensure action is taken
Remedial training for end users
Troubleshooting hardware and software issues on workstations, laptops and personal technology devices running Windows and Apple operating systems
Assist in developing operational standards/procedures
Partake in small projects and tasks, if required
On-call availability if and as required

Desktop Support Analyst Mandatory Skills

3-5 years of experience in IT Desk Side Customer Services
Preferred certifications: VCA, CCA, MTA or MCSA
Cisco Networking Environment
Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related studies
Knowledge of Windows networking fundamentals including routing, TCP/IP, DNS & DHCP
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Strong skills associated with bridging technical problems that cross functions, such as understanding cause and effect and root cause relationships for complex IT problems
Proficient with Office 2010
Excellent multi-tasking and organizational skills

Desktop Support Analyst Nice to Have Skills

Familiar with ITIL processes
Some experience working in an Oil and Gas environment would be nice to have
