Job Description :
Position: DeskTop Support Technician

Location: NYC,NY

Duration: 6 to 24 Months

In Person in NYC required (no phone or skype interview)

QUALIFICATIONS EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:

1) Minimum of 7 to 9 or more years’ experience in end user computing support required.

2) Associate degree or higher in IT required.

3) Minimum any one of the certificate (from the list below) required:

a. A + (CompTIA) Certification or

b. HDI – Desktop Support Technician Certification or

c. Microsoft Certificate:

i. Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) on Windows 10 or

ii. Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) or

iii. Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) or

iv. Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) or

d. Any Citrix XenApp & XenDesktop, Microsoft Hyper-V, or VMware Certified Professional Certification or

e. ACMT (Apple) - AppleCare Mac Technician or

f. Server + (CompTIA)

4) Solid understanding of:

a. Microsoft OS 7 & 10, Microsoft Office 2016 and Office 365.

b. Microsoft Exchange 2016, Lync, Skype for Business, One Drive for Business

c. Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM

d. PC imaging and Microsoft OS/Office upgrades.

e. PC cyber security software solutions.

f. Remote PC connectivity solutions and remote desktop support.

g. Active directory pertaining to user account creation, security and distribution groups.

5) Basic understanding of:

a. Laptop setup, configuration and encryption.

b. Conference room projectors and flat screen connectivity.

c. PC Lifecycle management

d. Old Equipment Recycling management

e. Image Management & PXE Lab computers

f. Escalation point for incident tickets
