JOB DESCRIPTION:
Designs new products and makes improvements to existing products. May evaluate products, parts, or processes for cost efficiency and reliability and ensure project completion. Works with other members of the engineering staff to ensure that production is completed in a timely manner. Requires a bachelor''s degree in area of specialty and 4-6 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field''s concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. May lead and direct the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.
This is a short-term contract looking for an expert SME with experience with Microsoft MQ (MSMW) in a clustered Windows 2003 environments.
Resource will assist in analysis & stabilization of the current solution as part of its migration to current infrastructure.
Role is to partner with internal resources for the enhancement and modernization of a key operational system for the airline.
Detailed experience architecting and designing solutions using Microsoft MQ with client connectivity to MS SQL.
Troubleshooting queue issues and stabilization in an enterprise clustered W2K3 environment.
Proficiency with Cluster Administrator and Perfmon.
Minimal travel may be required as needed
