Position: Technology Lead - Datastage Developer
Location: Charlotte,NC/Newark,DE/Pennington,NJ
Duration: Full Time / Permanent (Direct Hire)
NOTE: Client is Willing to provide Relocation Assistance as well.
Basic
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
At least 4 years of overall IT experience.
Preferred
Experience with relational database technologies which includes: working knowledge of SQL, knowledge of relational database design, performance and tuning experience
Minimum 4 years of experience in DW/BI related technologies and tools with expertise in developing/supporting DataStage
Knowledge/Experience on Data Warehousing applications, directly responsible for the Extraction, Staging, Transformation, Pre Loading and Loading of data from multiple sources into Data Warehouse.
Designs, develops, and implements solutions using DataStage Stages and Provide solution if the job face any failure
Should have experience in providing exception management, error handling capabilities and in configuration of Human tasks.
Should be responsible for data profiling, build custom and complex business data quality rules to support different business needs
Analyzing the statistics of the DataStage jobs in director and conducting performance tuning to reduce the time required to load the tables and the loads on computing nodes involved.
Very strong LINUX skills and SQL experience
Preferred experience with enterprise scheduling tool like Autosys
Experience in Quality Assurance creating Test Plans, Test Objectives, Test Strategies, and Test Cases. Ensuring the Data in data warehouse meets the business requirements.
Should be able to make decisions on the approach and design in an effective way to meet client’s current and future needs
Should be able to assess high level functional and architecture impact on any changes recommended
Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment
Reviews the work of other team members to ensure quality of code along with strong Analytical, relationship, collaborative and organization skills.
Experience in Green plum and Oracle database.
Experience in any external scheduling tools like Control-M or Autosys
Experience in Financial Services domain
Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment
