Roles & Responsibilities
· Experience in development of Server and Parallel jobs in DataStage Designer (9.x and 11.x)
· Experience in administration activities using DataStage Director and Quality Stage (9.x and 11.x)
· Experience with Java will be beneficial.
· Should have strong concepts in ETL and Data Warehouse
· Experience interfacing with Oracle PL/SQL
· Experience in writing effective queries in relation to Data Warehouse.
· Experience in reporting tool such as Jasper Reports and or Cognos
· Experience in Unix Shell scripting
· Responsible for the development and design of new requirements
· Design, code, test, and implement applications, for either internal or external uses
· Troubleshoot and resolve issues surrounding performance, response times, capacity and system limitations
· Responsible for creating and modifying documentation corresponding to development. May collaborate with internal business partners, internal technology resources (database, system, networking) and with external vendors
· Available to support applications 24/7 as part of support team
· Maintain and update documents and ensure data quality, integrity and consistency across organization.
