Location- Charlotte NC and Pennington NJ

7-12+ years of experience with extensive analytic skills, working in a data warehouse, working with ETL Datastage and Teradata/Vertica. The most preferred candidate will have some Hadoop experience as they are moving to Hadoop.
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of relational database design. Working knowledge of any one of these domains – Teradata, Vertica , DB2 – preferred.
Strong experience in ETL Tools - IIS Data stage is required.
Extensive hands on experience in UNIX shell scripting, complex SQL queries and with performance tuning queries.
Must be a team player in a fast paced environment with competing priorities and deadlines
Will not have direct reports but may lead projects and direct activities of a team related to special initiatives or operations Typically requires 7-10 years of applicable experience.
Quick learner. Must be able to learn new technical skills and apply to real life project
Desired Skills
Big Data Hadoop eco system will be a huge plus
Java, MQ. Rules engine
Experience working in a regulated financial institution
