Dear Candidate,
We are looking for a Datastage Developer with efficient skills and experience.
- DB2 preferable or any RDBMS
- UNIX ( avg knowledge is also fine)
- Mapping sheets will be received from business analyst provide with all required mapping rules and the source table in details.
- I will analyze the mapping sheets send all queries or clarification to the lead.
- Based up on the mapping sheets I will design the Datastage jobs, which contains all integrations and incorporate of all the transformation rules.
- After developing the jobs the data will be loaded into target tables.
- Extracted the data from database tables and Flat File data sources, Transformed and Loaded into Target.
- Also, play the role of a Lead for the development team, which involves, estimation, work allocation to resources, tracking the status, providing the daily and weekly status to Project Manager
- Responsible for interacting with the Business clients and taking part in review of requirements document discussions
- Preparing the low-level design documentation according to client''s specification.
- Key designer for ETL jobs and responsible for code review of ETL deliverables.
- Designing of the ETL Processes using different parallel job stages such as Join, Merge, Lookup, Filter, Dataset, Transformer, sort, and Aggregator
- Responsible for Code check-in, Version management and all the implementation activities.
- Provided the support for testing team in SIT phase.
- Provided the Support for UAT on data load.
- Key designer for ETL jobs and responsible for code review of ETL deliverables
