Title: Datastage Developer
Location: Dearborn, MI
Position Description:
*ITI/RRS ETL Developer/Analyst:Perform analysis, application design/development and support in a Teradata data warehousing environment. - Handle all aspects of systems life cycle for ETL processes related to DB2, Teradata and extract files using Mainframe skills and teradata utilities. Analyze requirements, create ETL job design, develop, implement, document, and support data warehousing applications for small enhancements as well as strategic projects - Handle multiple project assignments with minimal direction and escalate issues as necessary to the management - Be flexible to respond to changing priorities.
Skills Required:
Experience in relational databases, advanced SQL and extract, transform and load (ETL) programming/tools/utilities - is a plus Strong written/oral communication and interpersonal skills
Skills Preferred:
Strong drive for results and ability to work independently Demonstrated commitment to quality and project timing
Experience Required:
Over five years experience in mainframes, designing and developing ETL applications in Teradata data warehousing environment
Experience Preferred:
Designing Data Warehousing applications. Writing Specs, data analysis. Datastage skills is a plus.
Education Required:
Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
