Job Description:

Installation Engineer : (DataStage Admin)
5-6 Years Exp. As Datastage Administrator on Unix & LINUX Servers
Experience on DataStage upgrade projects
Manage, support, configure, install, upgrade IBM Information Server Environment.
Should be aware of End-to-End process and perform environment monitoring capacity and performance tuning
Perform system level and application level tuning and other DataStage administration activities
Supports the application development teams for DataStage needs and guidance
Liaises with product vendors and technical specialists to resolve issues.
Assesses current technical architecture; estimate system capacity for near- and long-term processing requirements
Supports and troubleshoots production systems, optimizing performance, resolving production problems, and providing timely follow-up on problem reports related to Datastage environment
Backup/DR Process
Outage/Reboot Process (Pre / Post Outage activities)
User Access
Creation of new users
Assigning access to users and groups
Removal of users and access
Upgrading/degrading the security/access of the users
