Database Security Engineer (with Oracle DBA & ServiceNow )
Contract : 6-12 Months
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- JOB DESCRIPTION:
o - Develop and Maintain scripts to collect and analyze database activity monitoring, Audit data and Reporting.
o - Work closely with Application teams to have timely quality response with regards to security/compliance issues within the database.
o - Interact with the other members of the DBA team to ensure Security standards are adequately implemented across the databases.
o - Engineer and document database tools to enforce security strategies in accordance with policies, standards, guidelines and procedures.
o - Contribute to the design and creation of tools and procedures for tracking and addressing weaknesses in DB security
o - Create tools and processes for hardening database configurations as well as detect and report security violations
o - Drive automation of installation, configuration, monitoring, operational and support for database security tools
o
Nice to have the below qualifications
o - Detailed understanding of database security and data protection technologies.
o - Hands-on database administration experience and knowledge of major database platforms such as Oracle, Mongo, Vertica, etc.
o - Hands-on experience with database lifecycle management, database security concepts like PKI, encryption, masking, auditing, DAM, etc.
o - Excellent written and oral communication skills and ability to collaborate with different groups within the organization.
o - Knowledge of information security risk assessment or audit
o - Understanding of regulatory compliance requirements like PCI and SOX
o - Knowledge and understanding of vulnerability scanning and reporting
