Job Description :
Mandatory Technical Skills
Strong skills in Database Design, Data Integration, Data Quality and ETL.
Good knowledge of MPP Architecture.
Proficient in writing complex SQLs, Stored Procedures, Macros and doing Performance Tuning.
Solid understanding of Data Warehousing & BI Concepts.
Experience writing shell scripts using (ksh, bash, perl or python
Exposure to ETL Tools like Informatica, Data Stage, etc.
Experience with Pivotal Greenplum and/or SAP HANA desirable. Teradata or Netezza acceptable.
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Desirable Technical Skills
Good knoweldge of tools like Erwin/Visio for Data modeling
Mandatory Functional Skills
Secondary Skills:
Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) with strong presentation and facilitation skills
Demonstrated ability to influence and consult (providing options with pros, cons and risks) while providing thought leadership to sponsors/stakeholders in solving business process and/or technical problems
