Job Description :

Job Description 1. Providing highly technical expertise and support in the use of DBMS. 2. Evaluating and recommending available DBMS products to support validated user requirements. 3. Defining file organization, indexing methods and security procedures for specific user applications. 4. Developing, implementing, and maintaining database backup and recovery procedures for the processing environments, and ensures that data integrity, security and recoverability are built into the DBMS applications. 5. Supporting databases for DDA applications/systems 24 hours daily; 6. Planning and evaluation of a variety of new or revised systems; 7. Installing, customization, administration, maintenance, and recovery of multiple applications and operating systems software, including physical and virtual infrastructures; Executing ad hoc reporting queries for business users.

Requirements a. Education: 1. A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related scientific or technical discipline or three (3) years experience of equivalent experience in a related field. b. General Experience: 1. Must have six (6) years of experience in DBMS systems analysis and programming. c. Specialized Experience: 1. At least three (3) years of experience in using current DBMS technologies , applications design utilizing various database management systems and experience with DBMS internals.
