DHS is looking for a database expert who will work within the Enterprise Data Warehouse to create and maintain ETL packages needed to support managed care and other Medicaid programs.
The Bureau of Medical Systems & Enterprise Data Warehouse is seeking a motivated candidate to fulfill the Responsibilities of supporting managed care and other Medicaid programs by developing and maintaining ETL packages which are needed for agency reporting.
\tExperience with mainframe VSAM files are necessary to transform existing legacy files to the Data Warehouse.
\tThis candidate also shares the responsibility for supporting the Medicaid Eligibility system’s Oracle backend interfaces and reporting.
\tExcellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact with a diverse group of team members is mandatory.
Responsibilities of DBA5 role include but are not limited to:
\tWorking with SQL Server 2012+
\tWorking with Oracle (version 11.x or higher)
\tWorking with SQL Server Integration Services
\tWorking with Mainframe VSAM files
\tWorking on an Agile team
Required Skills:
\tExperience working with SQL Server 2012 +
\tOracle 11.x Experience with Stored Procedures, Functions, Views
\tExperience working with CTE (Common Table Expressions)
\tExperience working with SQL Server Integration Services
\tExperience working with Mainframe VSAM files
\tExperience working on an Agile team
