Job Description :
Must Have

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.

A minimum of 4 year experience supporting complex SQL

stored procedures in a Sybase environment

3+ years of Experience on Informatica ETL

Ability to work under pressure with multiple priorities.

Strong estimation, troubleshooting/debugging skills.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to Have

Knowledge of financial services, Moody’s business

Job Description

To provide Development and maintenance support for

applications using SQL stored procedures in a Sybase

environment.

Applicant will be responsible for the analysis and coding

of new enhancements, providing effort estimates for

change requests and for fixing bugs in the existing stored

procedures.

Must also be able to investigate and resolve production

support issues escalated by the Level 2 team.

Must be able to write ad hoc SQL queries. Strong SQL

coding skills and the ability to understand and support a

complex data model are essential to success in this

position.

Must be meticulous about the quality of the code and be

thorough in Unit Testing.

Must have experience working in onsite

offshore model
Must have lead teams of 4- 8 developers working in onsite

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide data to senior team members during consulting engagements.

Create documents (e.g.pre consulting deck, recommendation deck etc) to

be used during engagements.

Analyze technology landscape, process, tools based on project objectives.

Understand the functional and nonfunctional requirement.

Collect nonfunctional requirements (such

as response time, throughput

numbers, user load, etc) through discussions with SMEs, business users.

Prepare low level design.

Identify and conduct design of complex subcomponents /module in

collaboration with project team, architects and client SME.

Present the detailed design documents to relevant stakeholders and seek

feedback.

Undertake project specific Proof of Concepts activities to validate

technical feasibility with guidance from the Application Architect.
