Job Description :
Required skills and experience:
Bachelor’s degree plus 7 years’ experience or Master’s degree plus 5 years’ experience; preferred degree in Computer Science or related area
3+ years of current experience with development and implementation of Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) /SSRS solutions
Experience in the development of modular SSIS solutions which include the implementation of robust error handling, logging, archival, and other foundational capabilities
Experience with debugging and trouble-shooting SSIS processes in production environments
Extensive experience with packaging and deployment of SSIS solutions
Current experience with Microsoft SQL Server databases
Experience with optimization of SQL statements
Extensive experience with implementing procedures, functions, and complicated ETL processes
Excellent listening and interpersonal skills
Experience working in an Agile development team
Experience in writing and delivering implementation SQL with rollback and logging capabilities
Desired skills and experience:
Experience with Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
Experience in the public health domain
Understanding of data warehousing principles and concepts, including methodologies such as Kimball and Inmon
Knowledge and understanding of implementing WebServices is a plus
