Job Description:
Worker will be responsible for documenting and producing code in T-SQL to achieve documented project goals. Worker will analyze and plan for the creation of tools and applications to meet specific project goals as documented by the business analysts and project manager. Will be responsible for all code documentation and utilize GIT source control to record all changes made to base code and modules. Worker will be required to analyze and interpret technical specifications to produce working tools and applications that satisfy documented specifications.

Worker has an expert knowledge of database architecture and database technology. Worker has good working knowledge of MS SQL and Oracle databases

Job Duties
Analyze complex business processes/requirements and convert to technical application specifications.
Troubleshoot and resolve application problems for commercial and in-house written applications.
Development of software documentation according to agency standards
Preparation staging of data for testing
Perform other duties as assigned


WORKER SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Requirements:
Years Skills/Experience
6 Work experience writing, testing, and implementing code for relational databases utilizing T-SQL, SQL
6 Work experience in database maintenance and database applications development
6 Knowledge of developmental methodologies, practices, principles, methodologies, and techniques of computer programming and systems analysis
6 Knowledge of computer operations procedures and systems
4 Work experience using modern source control tools such as GIT
Strong Skill in using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems
Strong Skill in identifying measures or indicators of program performance and troubleshooting related problems
Strong Skill in delivering and understanding complex, technical oral and written instructions and communicating with individuals having various levels of technical expertise and knowledge
Strong Excellent customer service skills and clear and professional oral and written communication skills
Strong Ability to design programs and systems logic
Strong Ability to prepare program specifications
Strong Ability to code, test, and debug computer programs
Strong Ability to interpret technical information related to computer programming and other areas of data processing
Strong Ability to process information logically, make decisions, and to demonstrate the soundness of those decisions
Strong Ability to work collaboratively with all stakeholders and maintain a professional, courteous demeanor
Strong Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks with varying deadlines
Strong Ability to willingly accept and use constructive criticism/feedback to improve performance
Strong Ability to plan, organize and work independently, as well as within a team environment
Degree or Equivalent Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major course work in computer science, computer information systems, management information systems or a related computer field. Experience may substitute for education on a year-for-year basis.
