Overview Work with the largest study in the department of Hematology and the only study of its kind on sickle cell disease. The work you do as the Database Analyst on our team will help to change the way sickle cell disease and other hematologic diseases are treated. You will build and maintain data systems and processes for research and clinical use using your knowledge of programming, SQL server, and FTP/sFTP. You will assist with developing surveys for electronic data capture for various clinic and study needs. Overall, we need someone who can act as the point person for internal IT staff, collaborating site staff, St. Jude clinical staff and others to identify data reporting needs. You can play a key role in putting the pieces together to achieve end results with clinical trials that will ultimately change the course of hematologic diseases. Minimum Experience Two (2) years of experience in database design involving experience with database and software validation, current querying tools and knowledge of relational database structures and methodologies required. Experience with SAS programming and data management required. Clinical database experience preferred. Certification as a SAS Base Programmer preferred. Minimum Education Bachelor's degree required, preferably in health sciences, computer science or related field.
