Title: Database Analyst/Data Modeler

Description: We are looking for a strong Database Analyst/Modeler.
PLEASE NOTE: This is NOT a PURE DBA position.
This role, works with Business Analysts, ETL Team, and DBAs to create a foundational data model for Deposits area with in the Big data and also in the Oracle EXADATA platforms.
Owns the data model creation and definitions of the data. Maintain the models across multiple releases. Establish the Data model repository.
Exposure to ETL Tools is advantageous to this role
Required Qualifications
-9+ years of Database development/Modeling/Analysis experience in Oracle/EXADATA.
-2+ year of Agile/Scrum experience
Desired Qualifications
-Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
-Data warehouse/Data Mart experience
-Strong SQL / data analysis experience
-Experience using ETL Tools like Informatica/Ab Initio
-Strong experience with Modeling tools - ERWIN preferred
-Data model version control experience
-Exposure to Unix Shell scripting/python
-Autosys Scheduling
Other Desired Qualifications:
-Strong understanding of data flows in a Data Warehouse/Mart environments.
-Exposure to Big Data - Hadoop/Hive/HDFS
-Ability to quickly understand deeply technical project components.
-Ability to support multiple projects simultaneously and ability to manage and prioritize work in order to meet all deadlines.
-Excellent oral and written communication including experience effectively communicating with Mid to Sr. level EIT and Business Partner Mgmt. on project status and issues as well as process/procedure changes.
-Extreme attention to detail.
-Ability to independently consolidate and coordinate large amounts of data with minimal errors.
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Project.
