Quantam is currently looking for an Oracle Database Administrator for the Commonwealth of Kentucky''s Commonwealth Office of Technology. Candidate must be able to attend an in person interview. Candidate must also be able to be onsite Monday through Friday in Frankfort, Kentucky. Quantam offers competitive compensation, paid time off, and health benefits. Below are the minimum requirements.

Oracle DBA Position requirements:
- Candidates at least 5+ years of experience in Database Administration in Oracle ( 11g and above ) on Linux/Unix OS. Desired experience with Oracle 12c.
- Experience in Performance Tuning, Query Optimization and other related monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
- Strong knowledge of backups and restores using RMAN and Datapump to/from SAN storage.
- Experience in troubleshooting and resolving database integrity issues, constraints, performance issues, blocking and deadlocking issues, connectivity issues, security issues etc.
- Experience in Installing and configuring Oracle software, Work with ASM, create databases, create users, create backups and any relevant database object.
- Ability to detect and troubleshoot Oracle related CPU, memory, I/O, disk space and other resource contention.
- Experience in in using DBA tools and applications like OEM Grid control, TOAD etc
- Documentation skills for processes and procedures.
