Responsibilities:
5+ years of Database Administration
Experienced in Oracle RDBMS, IBM DB2, and Microsoft SQL Server
Experienced in one of the following: IBM Netezza, Oracle Exadata, Couchbase, Apache Cassandra, or Oracle Coherence,
Support group installs, maintains, and upgrades
Provide daily support services for DB platforms development\test applications.
Provide day-to-day, hands-on technical support of DB platform-based production and development systems
Perform DB Server installs, upgrades, patching, and maintenance.
Create and review technical system recovery plans
Experienced in Performance Tuning, Query Optimization, Performance Monitoring, and SQL Profiler.
Lead bi-monthly team meetings, conduct Ad Hoc meetings and communicate team information and critical issues
Manage primary and secondary on-call schedule and conflicts.
