Job Description :
Job Title: Database Administration Specialist
Location: Reston, VA
Duration: Long term contract

Role Description:
The role is a high priority long-term position requiring the resource to:
Build MarkLogic BigData Database from the ground up, configure servers, replication, user account management, configuration changes, parallel job executions, report generations
Provide ongoing technical support and maintenance of MarkLogic big data production and support development systems and software products using MarkLogic
Primary focus on MarkLogic NoSQL Database
Responsible for all day-to-day operations of the MarkLogic NoSQL clusters
Concept of operation support, automation (scripting), ability to operate excel to perform basic data analysis and reporting
Basic proficiency navigating Linux Operating System using command lines

Required Skills:
MarkLogic (P3-Advanced)
NoSQL (P2-Proficient)
XML Transformation & Query (XSLT/Xquery/Xpath) (P-2 Proficient)
Linux Scripting (P2-Proficient)

Well-Qualified Candidates Will Also Have the Following:
Excel (P2-Proficient)
Python (P1-Novice)
Ansible (P1-Novice)
AWS (P1-Novice)
