Job Description:
This role will assist in the acceleration of the implementation of MariaDB (MySQL)and PostgreSQL into the BMS environment. This implementation will be both on premise and in Amazon Web Services (AWS) where the person in this role will assist setting standards (backup, monitoring, patching, clustering, replication, etc, automate the deployment, create solutions for the deployment in EC2 & RDS, along with a number of other tasks to create a mature administration model. The person in this role will need to work with the BMS third-party service provider to establish this model.
For a person to be successful in this role, they will need to have experience working in a global environment with a third-party service provider along with experience administrating and designing administration models for MariaDB and PostgreSQL both on premise and in AWS.
