Educational Requirements:
Bachelors Degree
Post-graduate degree is a plus.
Technical Skill Set Required:-
Should have 3-8 years of IT experience and 2-6 years of Datastage experience
Should have worked on latest version of Datastage
Should have worked on at least 1 - 3 end to end DW Projects
Should be able to do project estimations (Preferred)
Should be able to create ETL Design Documents & Mapping Specification Documents
Should be able to understand Data Models
Should be able to do Physical Database Design
Should have sufficient experience to work on UNIX & Shell Scripting
Should have strong PL/SQL & SQL Tuning skills (Preferred)
Key Areas of Responsibility:
This individual will be responsible for solution design, integration, data sourcing and transformation, database design and development (logical / physical) and tool implementation related to data warehousing in Interface with Teradata engineering staff as needed to resolve complex technical issues for existing Teradata customers.
Provide support to project teams in development and estimation efforts for Datastage engagements.
