Title: DataStage Developer
Location: 1401 Pacific Avenue Dallas, TX
Duration: 6-12 Months Contract with possible extension
Job Description:
? Develop and test code to deliver functionality that meets the overall business strategy and objectives
? Plan, design, code, test, debug, configure and document ETL application systems solutions
? Unit test code, create automated test scripts, and execute all other testing-related tasks
? Work with other technical team members to deploy technical solutions using design, coding and testing standards
? Train and support other team members and be a leader in supporting methodologies and processes as well as streamlining development (focus on reusable code) for faster delivery to end customers
? Execute necessary project documentation
Candidates must have the following qualifications, skills and abilities:
? 2+ years hands on with IBM InfoSphere DataStage Development
? Ability to identify, transform and cleanse data from various 3rd party sources
? Use of ETL Best Practices
? Hands on experience in InfoSphere DataStage 8.5 or later
? Experience in designing and creating simple to complex DataStage parallel jobs
? Good understanding and knowledge in DataStage parallel architecture and partitioning
? Ability to troubleshoot and tune DataStage jobs to determine and fix code and performance issues
? Good understanding of RDBMS and ability to analyze and troubleshoot issues related to queries.
