About the Job:
We are building a brand name around analytics. We are looking for a Data Scientist to collaborate with business analysts and operations to develop state of the art prediction models. We are looking for someone to work on high visibility projects that directly impact business strategy and outcomes. Our successful candidate will possess a passion for innovative analysis, processes that scale, and developing findings and recommendations that transcend the numbers.
What You’ll Do
Build complex predictive models to substantially improve marketing efficiency or to increase revenue generated (ex. credit modeling, marketing optimization models, and user-behavior analysis)
Collaborate across multiple functions, such as Product Management and Data Engineering, to implement models into production and monitor their performance
Document, monitor, and iterate models used in marketing and production
Bring the ability to use analytics to drive key success metrics related to business, operation and risk analytics
What You’ll Need:
3+ years of experience executing complex data analysis in R and/or Python
Experience building, validating, and implementing machine learning models in a business setting
Ability to clearly communicate complex analytical methods and results to business partners
Strong attention to detail and high level of comfort working in a fast paced, dynamic environment
MS or Ph.D in Quantitative Field - relevant majors with data science competencies and mindset.
We’d be ecstatic if you have any of the following:
Recent experience in financial services with involvement in credit scorecard, anti-fraud modeling or marketing optimization
Working knowledge of Big Data Analytical Stacks
Experience with Real Time/Streaming Data
Exceptional performance in ML Competitions
Familiarity with cluster computer and the Hadoop/Spark ecosystem is a plus.
