IDEALFORCE has a Contract-to-Hire position available immediately for a Data Visualization Consultant to join our customer in Phoenix Arizona. This is an ONSITE position. Roles and Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for transportation data governance, coordination, and technical support within the Data Management Group. The position is also responsible for the management and maintenance all of Multimodal Planning Divisions data analytic interfaces for two systems. Position requires an understanding of database software, statistical analysis, performance based analytics, key performance indicators, and geoInformatics. Create and maintain data dashboards for visualizing agency data for report creation for executive management data driven decision-making. Ensures that data is managed in accordance with American Association of State Highway and Transporation Officials (AASHTO), Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), and industry recognized standards. Coordinate the implementation of hardware, software, networking, and programming initiatives with the Information Technology Group (ITG Coordinate with internal data stewards to organize, modify, and improve within a GIS/Linear Referencing System (LRS) to visualize in the most effective and logical manner. Assist the Data Analytics Section Manager with the implementation of data governance practices including coordination with internal and external data owners regarding access to and quality control of base data used to support ADOT’s Information analysis systems.

Qualification and Education Requirements:
KNOWLEDGE OF
Principles and practices of engineering disciplines related to transportation
Performance based analytics
Geospatial data visualization
Lead and Lag measures to achieve strategic goals
GIS hardware and software
Enterprise relational databases
Statistical analysis methods and procedures
Data supply chains
Data governance and management principals

SKILLS IN
Use of GIS hardware/software
Use of statistical packages like SPSS
Development of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Dashboard/visualization software in one or more of the following:
o Cognos, Socrata, Qlik, Tableau, ArcGIS Online, Geocortex, Insights and/or other comparable system
Use of databases and performance measurement reporting
Creating dynamic cartographic maps
Written/oral communication
Gathering, organizing, analyzing, and using data
Online GIS tools

ABILITY TO
Advise management of potential issues and suggested resolutions
Grasp complex concepts
Communicate effectively verbally and in writing
Give presentations to a variety of groups
Manage time effectively
Prepare reports as needed
Coaching and mentoring

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
Accredited education, training, or specific experience in: Economics, Mathematics, Geographic Information Science (GIS), Transportation Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
One - three years of work experience in Data Visualization, Business Intelligence, Big Data, and GIS (including ESRI software applications
Dashboards, mapping, and data visualization experience with one or more of the following: Cognos, Socrata, Qlik, Tableau, ESRI''s ArcGIS Online, Insights, Latitude Geographic''s Geocortex, and/or other comparable system .
