This is not your typical QA role. They are looking for a Tester who can test data - can code very complex SQL queries to facilitate test result verification and SSIS, SSMS (ETL, Reporting) for data migration and data bridging efforts.
Code very complex SQL queries to facilitate test result verification.
Test Cases, Test Plans, Test Design and procedures for Functional Software Testing and Regression Testing.
Large scale data conversion projects preferred.
THE SKILLS YOU NEED TO GET THE JOB:
7-10 years as QA Analyst and/or Senior Tester role preferred
Experience with MS Windows platforms with solid experience in working with MS SQL Server databases, SSIS, SSMS and Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS
Solid experience with scripting languages like SQL scripting.
Knowledge of relational database design, programming and information retrieval techniques; Solid experience in writing complex SQL queries, insert/update statements.
Through understanding of test automation and experience in both manual and automated test efforts.
Experience working with QA tasks under various development methodologies including Waterfall and Agile.
Ability to collate and analyze defects, present the results using charts for root cause analysis and provide feedback to compare against defined parameters.
Maintain tracking status of open action and corrective items, receiving and reviewing responses and feedback, and monitor established timeframes for action items.
Experience with large scale data conversion projects preferred
