eDataForce Consulting LLC has a need for our ideal candidate, with strong SQL skills (preferably TSQL, Teradata and Oracle), SSIS experience and business side development experience. We are not looking for someone who can build a cube from scratch or architecture an entire data warehouse on the IT side as those generally require tools and access that we do not have, but we do need someone who could do similar things from a business perspective.
While we are using SSIS for our ETL packages, we do not have our own server to schedule them on which requires a bit of workaround in the form of scripting and automation.

Gather complex data inputs from multiple sources, both internally and externally.
Work cross-functionally as needed to enable data architecture and solutions that best meet the analytics and reporting needs of the business. Drive clarity on requirements and ensure delivery meets agreed upon requirements.
Complete complex ad-hoc research, analysis, and reporting.
Structure, perform Quality Assurance, and deliver recurring reports and dashboards accurately and on-time (e.g., daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annually
Build monitoring solutions to ensure on-going quality and accuracy of existing recurring reports and dashboards.
Document work instructions, data sources, and report logic.
Ad hoc issue investigation and quantification of business impact
Perform detailed reconciliation to enable audit-readiness

5+ years mining data and developing reports using a variety of reporting/analytics software packages with an aptitude for learning new reporting software packages
5+ years SQL development (T-SQL, Teradata, Oracle, etc
3+ years ETL development (SSIS, Stored Procedures, etc
2+ years report development (Tableau, SSRS, etc
2+ years advanced Excel (e.g., formulas, pivot tables, graphing, data connections, automation using macros and VBA)
Experience using SAS for cross platform data management.
Demonstrated ability to successfully manage competing priorities & deliverables in a fast-paced, dead-line oriented environment
Superior organizational, problem solving, and analysis skills
Ability to work independently with limited supervision and manage multiple priorities
Able to build strong cross-functional relationships
Ability to perform data investigation (e.g., data source identification, feasibility of joins, determine data reasonableness based on business insights)
