"Hands on in applying data mining techniques, doing statistical analysis, machine learning algorithms and building high quality prediction systems integrated with products and processes.
Should have experience in some of the following:
“automate scoring using machine learning techniques”, “build recommendation systems”, “improve and extend the features used by our existing classifier”, “develop internal A/B testing, multi arm bandits”, “build system for automated fraud detection”
PhD in math, stats, physics, computer science or electronics would be added advantage with 8 - 12 years of experience or a long track record of involvement in complex data analysis
Engagements
Experience in text analyses and streaming analyses
Experience in computer vision, speech and video
Have worked on Deep Learning (CNN, RNN)
Understanding and experience in performance optimization related to algorithm implementations
Responsibilities:
Selecting features, building and optimizing classifiers using machine learning techniques
Experienced in Data mining
Extending data with third party sources of information when needed
Enhancing data collection procedures to include information that is relevant for building analytic systems
Processing, cleansing, and verifying the integrity of data used for analysis
Doing ad-hoc analysis and presenting results in a clear manner
Creating automated anomaly detection systems and constant tracking of its performance"
"Excellent understanding of machine learning techniques and algorithms, such as k-NN, Naive Bayes, SVM, Random Forests, etc.
Experience with common data science toolkits, such as R, Weka, NumPy, Spark MLLIB, H2O.ai etc.
Good scripting and programming skills in one or more language like R, Python etc. Good practical knowledge in machine learning algorithims
Proficiency in using query languages such as SQL, Hive, Pig
Experience with NoSQL databases, such as MongoDB, Cassandra, HBase as well as graph databases such as Neo4j
Good applied statistics skills, such as distributions, statistical testing, regression, etc.
Experience in at least one foundational language such as C++ or Java
