*Job Title: Data Scientist Supply Chain -USC. GC, EAD - on W2

*Job Location: San Jose, CA*

*Duration: 7+ Months*

" Identify opportunities in Customers business.
Translate business needs into accurate and specific business
specifications to industry standard documentations and guidelines.
Perform Exploratory Data Analysis.
Process gap analysis, anticipating process improvement areas and project
related numbers
Provides feedback to customer and/or business stakeholders, as required
to steer the project on right track for successful implementations
Liaison between onshore & offshore team.
Excellent data management skills, experience of working on creating
detailed comprehensive reports for KPI (Key Performance Indicators),
analyzing existing and potential portfolios of improvements
Data and number oriented individual
The person could be exploring various opportunities or working on
multiple projects at the same time. Multi-tasking individual required.
Experience with common data science toolkits, such as Python, R, NumPy,
MatLab, etc. Excellence in at least one of these is highly desirable
Excellent communication skills, ability to simplify complex topics for
broad audiences Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau
& Spotfire
Proficiency in using query languages such as SQL
Experience with databases and database extracts
Minimum 5 years of experience with statistical modelling and machine
learning
Experience working with large datasets and Learning algorithms
Good scripting and programming skills
Overall 8 to 10 years of experience with Master s degree in Computer
Science, Mathematics, Statistics or related field"
