Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will work and collaborate with our client and their systems engineers to research and implement various Machine Learning techniques, collect, analyze and process a variety of data (structured and unstructured), develop qualitative models.
Requirements:
6+ years of industry experience in data science and advanced, hands-on-experience analyzing large data sets, developing algorithms, and programming skills in Python, SAS, R, and/or Java
6+ years of working with relational databases, distributed file systems, and multi-node databases to develop machine learning, probabilistic reasoning, adaptive control, and/or optimization applications
Detailed knowledge and proven capacity to model, develop, and evaluate various Machine Learning techniques, effectively present their strengths and weaknesses to senior management and stakeholders
Experience managing and modeling data using relational (Postgres, MySQL), NoSQL (Redis, Neo4j, MongoDB) and search (Elastic search, Solr) technologies
Strong data exploration, querying, visualization, feature reduction, and identification skills
Strong writing and presentation skills
MA/MS or PhD degree
