Job Description :
The Data Scientist role involves working on all stages of the data science pipeline, from acquiring and assessing data, selecting appropriate models and algorithms and/or deriving custom algorithms, testing and evaluating these algorithms and models, and incorporating them into a commercial product.
Minimum Required Skills:
R/Python/C++/SQL/Java, scala/spark, Machine Learning, Data Science, Optimization Algorithms, Data Analysis, A.I.
Day to Day responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Communicate complex results/ideas to key stakeholders
- Creation of product roadmaps reviews and product ideation
- Analysis of data-sets in order to build complex statistical models
- Design algorithms best suited to solve complex problems
- Work cross-functionally to ensure company vision and needs are in line with work.
- Implement new statistical methodologies for modeling and analysis
What You Need for this Position
MUST HAVE:
- Masters in STEM Field
- 3-5 Years of relevant and professional data science experience
- Experience analyzing data sets, building machine learning mathematical/statistical models and/or optimization algorithms
- Comfortability communicating complex data science ideas to non-trained stakeholders by way of presentation
- Extensive experience with at least 2 of the following:
- C/C++
- SQL
- R
- Java
- Experience with Scala, Spark, or Python a big plus
- Proven ability to work independently without supervision
