Perform Data wrangling, mashup distinctive data sets and generate algorithms using
statistical analysis, natural language processing and machine learning that help in generating insights
DUTIES (Key activities or tasks that are performed to accomplish the essential functions of the job):
o Use Natural Language Processing and Machine Learning to develop algorithms
o Create Conceptual Models and articulate the same
o Perform Statistical Analysis and Predictive Modelling to predict future outcomes
o Perform Hypothesis testing- able to develop hypothesis and test them
o Visualize outcomes and articulate these
o Participates in design and development review
o Performs Unit Testing and Peer Review
SKILLS
o Minimum 5 years’ experience in Data Science with proven experience in
using natural language processing and machine learning to perform context
based text analytics to derive outcomes.
o Experience in programming languages such as Python, R and SQL
o Experience in Insurance Projects
o Educational background (undergraduate or graduate or certificate ) in Data
Science / Machine Learning or related field.
o Clear articulation (both written/verbal) skills
o Responds appropriately to urgent Pilot Deadlines. This includes after hour work as needed
o Understanding and exposure to both Big Data (Hadoop) and EDW environments is a plus
o Experience in Data Visualization Software like Tableau / Qliksense/ Power BI is a plus
o Experience in using a Data Science Platform (Product) is a plus
