Title: Data/Power BI Architect

Looking for a an experienced architect / developer who can design and develop data systems, document and analyze our current data repositories, enable self-service BI initiatives, and help maintain day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities
Document, categorize, and analyze conceptual, logical, and physical data models for diverse sets of data in a variety of repositories and the flows of data between systems.
Design, build, deliver, and publish data models and datasets to enable self-service BI for both internal customers and public consumption.
Own technical design of components with overall systems view.
Collaborate with business partners to act as a technical evangelist for self-service business intelligence, understand objectives, deliver maximum business impact and return on investment.
Identify opportunities to leverage predictive analytics and define their requirements.
Implement data processing and monitoring standards to address data quality.
Ensure the data extracts and reporting solutions are stable, supportable, extensible, and trusted by business partners.
Required Qualifications
Experience with SQL
Experience using Oracle and SQL Server databases required; experience with Essbase and HANA a plus.
Experience with ETL (ODI or SSIS a plus), data modeling, and working with Power BI and other Business Intelligence systems; any experience with Oracle BI a plus.
Experience creating and publishing datasets on open data platforms for consumption by both internal staff and citizens.
Experience partnering with architects on design & architecture.
Experience with data warehousing, associated architecture, and warehouse implementation a plus.
Proven skills in database design with multidimensional modeling a plus.
Excellent written and oral communication skills, particularly the ability to synthesize complex issues/scenarios into easy-to-understand concepts.
An attention to detail with self-discipline and a drive for results.
Demonstrated ability to work in ambiguous situations and across organizational boundaries.
